From the Artist

Like many of you, I began playing with paint in Kindergarten and never really stopped playing. Even before my early, joyful time with paint, I was completely fascinated and in love with the natural world.

We are often moved by the lighting, atmosphere, or just the "feel" of a place or scene. When creating a piece, I aim to capture a hint of that energy. 

 

My creative path has been varied, encompassing historical illustration, Chinese painting, watercolor, acrylic, oils, pastel and printmaking, as well as teaching these mediums to students.
